 The
National Tourism Fund (FONATUR), ANXIOUS TO PROMOTE THE
SPORT OF GOLF IN México, constructed the TANGOLUNDA
GOLF CLUB on one of the nine bay of Huatulco. Covering 75 acres,
this 6,851 yard, par 72 course emphasizes informality and entices
while establishing a close relationship with the exotic vegetation
where the sea, the sky and men determine play from tee to green.
One needs only imagine the contrasting colors of water and air combined
with the cries of the guacamayas and other parrots, the texture
of the sand and jungle, the zest of triumph felt by any golfer who
with great enjoyment has covered every hole. This course is the
only one in which the fairway runs down the beach where beautiful
women bask in the sun. Also, it is close to the tourist zone with
its splendid restaurants, bars and night life.
